Jodie Dodson, AIA

Founding Principal

Founding principal Jodie Dodson boasts over 25 years of service to Tallahassee.  A graduate of the E. Fay Jones School of Architecture, his extensive technical and construction process experience lays the groundwork for the firm's continued growth. Having served as president and director of the Tallahassee AIA Chapter, and currently as a Tallahassee Building Code Magistrate, Jodie maintains strong ties to the community he loves.  He enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling, and finding unique restaurant experiences with his wife, Laurie, and their children.

Karin Zawrotny, AIA

Architect

Karin [car-in] graduated in 1992 with honors from Carnegie-Mellon. By 1996, she was a licensed architect in the state of Maryland. Three years later she, her husband, and two children moved to Tallahassee where she quickly became licensed to practice in the state of Florida as well. At the office, she enjoys problem solving of all kinds. After hours will find her out on the trails back-packing, running, or refining her martial arts skills.

Lauren Shields, Associate AIA

Designer

As a native to Tallahassee, Lauren brings to the studio an intimate knowledge of North Florida. Her many years of experience in the performing arts have developed her strong skills of form and presentation. She has obtained her Master's of Architecture degree through Florida A&M University. Lauren spends her free time with family and friends while somehow also finding time to volunteer at her church.

Noah Sadler, Associate AIA

Graduate Designer

Noah joined the team in early 2023 and brings an impressive work ethic. From a young age, his love of creative freedom in the popular video game known as Minecraft (2011) has cultivated into true passion and eagerness for architecture in the real world. In 2024, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida A&M University, obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Today, he continues to work hard in order to become a licensed architect by 2025. After hours, Noah enjoys practicing his music instruments, composing music, and spending time with friends and family.
